Whereas,	The voters of New Jersey have had the right to vote on individual school budgets or the right to vote on budget questions that are above CAP; and
Whereas,	The taxpayer has the right to determine the amount of the tax levy they will have to pay; and
Whereas,	This election must remain a non-partisan election; and
Whereas,	The taxpayer has the right to determine the quality of the education received by students in their school district. and
Whereas,	The right to vote on school budget questions promotes interest and pride in communities across New Jersey. and
Whereas,	Loss of the right to vote in one area nay led to losing the opportunity to vote on other matters; therefore be it
Resolved,	That the New Jersey PTA and Local PTAs, the Department of Education, and the State Board of Education to retain the right to vote on the school budgets and/or school budget questions; and
Resolved,	That the New Jersey PTA and Local PTAs encourage their members and their community to participate in the school election.
